Kashish Gulwani graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

During University, Kash studied a variety of health-related fields including human anatomy and biomechanics. She also has clinical experience working in hospitals with post-surgical patients, leading clinical Pilates classes and sports training in both adult and paediatric populations. Whilst studying, Kash also dedicated her time working with football and soccer clubs where she developed her interest in injury prevention and management.

Kash developed her passion for hand therapy during her final clinical placement at university. She believes this passion grew from her interest in the anatomy of the upper limb and seeing the direct impact that hand therapy can have on an individual’s quality of life. Kash understands the affect an injury can have on a person’s work and personal commitments and strives to provide strong patient centred care and treat every patient with compassion and respect.

Kash strives to help her patients return to their pre-injury level, whether that be work, sport or anything that is important to them. Kash particularly enjoys staying up to date with the latest in hand therapy research and developing tailored rehabilitation programs for her patients.

Outside of work, you’ll find Kash representing her local club and barracking passionately for Collingwood in the AFL. She developed her interest in footy through working as a sports trainer for her local footy club and has seen and managed a variety of injuries on the sidelines. Additionally in her spare time, Kash enjoys dancing and performing. She has participated in many dance performances at the federation square and the Moomba festival parade.

Luckily for Action Rehab, Kash now dedicates her time to Action Rehab supporting people to overcome their upper limb injuries and help them return to their pre-injury self.
