Bronte Land graduated Australian Catholic University in Ballarat with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
During University Bronte studied a variety of health-related fields including human anatomy and physiology. She has also gained clinical experience in both the private and public sectors during her time on placement, including cardiorespiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal areas. She particularly enjoyed worked with patients to help them achieve their goals.
Bronte developed a passion for hand therapy after needing it herself after sustaining (multiple!) finger fractures from playing netball. She believes this passion grew from her interest in the anatomy of the upper limb and seeing the direct impact that hand therapy can have on someone’s everyday life.
Bronte strives to help patients return to their pre-injury level, whether that be work, sport or anything that is important to them. Bronte particularly enjoys staying up to date with the latest in hand therapy research and developing tailored rehabilitation programs for her patients.
Outside of work you’ll find Bronte representing her local club on the netball court or barracking passionately for the Melbourne Vixens in the SSN. She also loves to spend time in nature, whether that’s in the garden or cycling in and around the Dandenong Ranges.
Before joining Action Rehab, Bronte spent a lot of time coaching young netballers and encouraging participation in sport. She aims for sport to be a place where people can learn and grow in a supportive environment, while making life-long friends. She wants to bring this philosophy to work, providing a space for patients to feel supported and empowered in understanding and managing their condition.
Bronte now dedicates her time to Action Rehab supporting people to overcome their upper limb injuries.
