Sam Speer initially completed a Bachelor of Human Movement and Exercise Science at Victoria University earning membership to the Golden Key Society. Growing up Sam was passionate about Basketball, AFL and Cricket. As such, he saw an assortment of injuries varying in severity. This inspired him to further his study and attend The University of Melbourne where he graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy. Along his professional journey, Sam developed a fascination about the upper limb and all of its inner workings. This led him to pursue a role at Action Rehab: Hand Therapy where now works with all populations and in synergy with GP’s and Orthopaedic Surgeons. Sam has become skilled at assessment and diagnosis, splinting, post-operative care, exercise prescription and management of chronic conditions.
