SERVICE AREAS

Will Selbie graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) after completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.

Throughout his university studies, Will explored a wide range of health-related fields, including in-depth coursework on human anatomy and physiology. He also gained diverse clinical experience, working in a variety of settings such as sports environments, hospitals, and private practices, all of which helped shape his approach to patient care.

During his clinical placement at Bendigo Health, Will developed a strong passion for hand therapy. His interest grew as he learned more about the complex anatomy of the upper limb and witnessed the profound impact hand therapy could have on an individual’s life. Will’s enthusiasm for this area of physiotherapy deepened further when he personally experienced a wrist and hand injury.

Through his own recovery process, he gained a deeper understanding of the importance of regaining pain-free movement and the role of comprehensive rehabilitation in the healing process. Now, Will is dedicated to helping his patients return to their pre-injury level of function, whether that involves getting back to work, sport, or other activities that are important to them. He is particularly passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest research in hand therapy and creating tailored rehabilitation programs to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Outside of his work at Action Rehab, Will enjoys an active lifestyle that includes swimming, cycling, and running, along with spending time outdoors and socialising with friends. He is a dedicated supporter of the Essendon Bombers in the AFL and has set himself the goal of completing a full Ironman in the near future.

Will is deeply committed to helping people overcome upper limb injuries and regain their quality of life, both in his professional practice and in his personal pursuits.
