Veronica Kapur is an Indian-trained physiotherapist who graduated from the DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Punjab before pursuing her passion for sports injuries and further completed her Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy from India.

With over seven years of clinical experience, Veronica has worked extensively across both hospital and private practice settings, managing a wide range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. She has treated patients of all ages, from young athletes to the geriatric population, with a particular interest in chronic and complex injuries.

During her career, she served as Head of Department, overseeing multiple clinics across different locations while leading multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Her experience includes treating athletes across a variety of sports, including golf, cricket, basketball, badminton, and skating.

Over the years, Veronica developed a special interest in upper limb and hand rehabilitation, enjoying the challenge of treating complex shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions and helping patients regain their independence and confidence in everyday activities.

After relocating to Melbourne, Australia, Veronica further expanded her clinical interests by developing expertise in Clinical Pilates, integrating movement-based rehabilitation into her treatment approach. She is passionate about helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them by regaining their independence and confidence in everyday activities.

Veronica has a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and enjoys researching the latest clinical evidence to develop personalised rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s goals and needs.

She believes that no two patients are the same, and that successful rehabilitation requires a customised, patient-centred approach. Whether the goal is returning to work, getting back to sport, or simply moving without pain, she is committed to helping recover safely and confidently.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find Veronica playing and travelling with her dog, attending her Pilates classes, exploring Melbourne’s food scene, or spending time with family and friends. She has a love for Indian and Thai cuisine and definitely won’t say no to dessert!

Luckily for Action Rehab, Veronica’s passion for sports brings the same level of enthusiasm, leadership, and a wealth of international clinical expertise to her practice. She now focuses her time at Action Rehab helping people move better, recover stronger, and get back to doing the things they love.

Committed to delivering evidence-based care, Veronica enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research and advances in hand therapy to ensure her clients receive the highest quality support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
