SERVICE AREAS

Sonia Pujar graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor’s Physiotherapy Degree.

During University Sonia studied a variety of health-related fields including human anatomy and nutritional sciences. She also has clinical experience having completed many placement blocks as part of her degree.

Sonia developed a passion for hand therapy during her clinical placement at University. She believes this passion grew from her interest in the anatomy of the upper limb and seeing the direct impact that hand therapy can have on someone’s life.

Sonia strives to help patients return to their pre-injury level, whether that be work, sport or anything that is important to them. Sonia particularly enjoys staying up to date with the latest in hand therapy research and developing tailored rehabilitation programs for her patients.

Outside of work you’ll find Sonia playing tennis representing her local club and attending Indian dance classes. Additionally, you’ll find her playing ultimate frisbee in her spare time and has represented Victoria in the U18’s girl’s squad in 2021.

Luckily for Action Rehab, Sonia brings extensive expertise in safe technique and movement, developed through over three years of experience as a part-time certified tennis coach.

Sonia now dedicates her time to Action Rehab supporting people to overcome their upper limb injuries.

Sonia speaks both English and Kannada.
