Sean Gatt is a qualified physiotherapist, graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). During his studies, Sean gained a strong foundation in health sciences, human anatomy, and clinical practice.
He has hands-on experience across public health, private practice, and even at the elite level with Division 1 AFL, giving him a broad understanding of patient needs and recovery goals.
Sean discovered his passion for hand therapy during his final clinical placement, where he saw first-hand how targeted treatment can transform lives. His interest in the upper limb anatomy and the ability to help patients regain function inspired him to specialise in this area.
At Action Rehab, Sean focuses on helping people recover from hand and upper limb injuries, supporting them to return to work, sport, and everyday activities that matter most. He stays up to date with the latest hand therapy research and creates individualised rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s goals.
Outside the clinic, Sean enjoys swimming, going to the gym, and collecting coins. He’s also a big fan of the NBA and loves experimenting in the kitchen.
