Ross Skinner graduated with First class honours in Sports Therapy before completing his Masters degree in Physiotherapy at King’s College London.
Ross plied has his trade, the last few years, in the NHS at the Royal London Hospital. Where he worked within the Trauma and Neurological services as well as the Musculoskeletal Outpatient team. Ross also spent a year on Harley Street, at the London Clinic, working with post-op Orthopaedics patients. Along side this, Ross has pursued his passion for Sport, most recently as the Head Physio at Blackheath Rugby club in the English National League One.
Ross’ passion for clinical work has shaped from his time in the British Military, prior to becoming a Physio, where he served as a Combat Medic on various deployments around the world. Arriving in Melbourne by way of Latin America, Ross worked with the NGO Sea Shepherd as the crew Medical Officer on a marine conservation campaign in the Gulf of California.
Outside of work, you will find Ross falling off his local rock climbing wall, blaming his racket at the tennis court or “pulling the strings” at his touch Rugby team.
Settled into Australian life, Ross now devotes his time at Action Rehab. Where he enjoys working with patients from all walks of life to create bespoke treatment plans to relieve pain and improve function, in order to get patients back to their passions.
