Rhea Veigas initially completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree, finishing with first class Honours. She then graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy. During this period, she also served a year on the student committee for the Australian Physiotherapy Association, to provide ongoing and out-of-classroom education for students.

During her studies, Rhea developed a keen interest in upper limb anatomy and their associated conditions, particularly after having wrist injuries of her own. She also loves working with people and is very passionate about helping patients, of all ages and abilities, to achieve their goals and get back to life!

Rhea has extensive experience with exercise prescription, post-operative rehabilitation, splinting, and management of chronic conditions. She enjoys research in physiotherapy and continually upskills to best translate current evidence into practice. Rhea also understands the importance of patient-centred care and works collaboratively with her patients, the GP and surgeon, and other relevant professionals, to continually provide high quality care.

When she is not working, Rhea loves to spend her time rock climbing, orienteering, or hiking. She is also part of the Melbourne Dodgeball League, playing with their A-league team.
