Meet Rahuel Vijayaratnam – Physiotherapist at Action Rehab
Rahuel Vijayaratnam is a dedicated physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Monash University.
His journey into healthcare began with a strong interest in human anatomy and nutritional sciences, which he explored during his studies. Over time, Rahuel discovered his passion for hand therapy, particularly during his final clinical placement, where he saw first-hand how targeted rehabilitation can transform lives.
At Action Rehab, Rahuel focuses on helping people recover from upper limb injuries and return to what matters most—whether that’s work, sport, or everyday activities.
He enjoys creating individualised rehabilitation programs and staying up to date with the latest research in hand therapy to ensure his patients receive evidence-based care.
Outside the clinic, Rahuel is an avid sports enthusiast. He proudly supports the Geelong Cats in the AFL and enjoys playing soccer, swimming, and following MMA.
His love for sport and movement inspires his approach to upper limb physiotherapy – helping patients regain strength, confidence, and function.
If you’re looking for a physiotherapist who combines clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping people, Rahuel is here to support you on your recovery journey.
