SERVICE AREAS

Maddison Batchelor graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She is a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor and also holds qualifications in Myotherapy.

During her studies, Maddie explored a range of health-related fields including human anatomy, biomechanics and physiology. She brings three years of clinical experience as a Myotherapist in private practice, where she developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation.

Maddie’s passion for hand therapy began during her final university placement and was strengthened through her own experiences with hand injuries and her work in elite sport. Her strong interest in upper limb anatomy, combined with witnessing the positive outcomes of effective rehabilitation, inspired her to pursue this rewarding specialty.

Maddie is dedicated to helping her patients return to their pre-injury level, whether that be work, sport or other meaningful activities. She enjoys ongoing learning and staying up to date with the latest evidence- based practice and hand therapy research. Maddie takes pride in developing tailored rehabilitation programs to suit each individual’s needs.

Outside of work, you will find Maddie walking her dog Dexter, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and passionately supporting both the Hawthorn and Melbourne Football Clubs in the AFL. Before joining Action Rehab, Maddie spent five years working with the Melbourne Football Club.

She now applies her skills at Action Rehab, helping patients restore optimal function and confidence following upper limb injuries.
