Kate O’Sullivan graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice.
During University, Kate studied a variety of health-related fields including human anatomy. She commenced her career working in a major Victorian public hospital and completed rotations within both acute and subacute settings. Kate is now excited to specialise in upper limb rehabilitation.
Kate developed a passion for hand therapy during practical classes at University which further grew when she experienced her own upper limb injury. She understands first-hand the direct impact that hand therapy can have on someone’s life.
Kate is committed to improve patient outcomes, enhance quality of life and strives to return patient’s to their pre-injury level. Kate is dedicated to following evidence based rehabilitation programs and stays up to date with current research.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys an active social life, she loves to travel, spend time with her family at the beach during Summer, play social netball, dance and barracks for the Hawthorn Football Club.
Luckily for Action Rehab, Kate now dedicates her time to supporting people to overcome their upper limb injuries.
