Hannah Tarrant graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
Hannah first developed a passion for Hand Therapy during time at ACU studying occupational therapy. During that time, she completed a 7-week placement in outpatient hand therapy at the Austin Repatriation Hospital. Hannah continues to undertake professional development by attending Hand Therapy related courses through the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
Hannah has experience assisting individuals return to work following a workplace injury or a motor vehicle accident through her previous role as an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant. This experience developed her understanding around the importance of upper limb injury treatment and its positive influence in improving the quality of an individual’s personal and work occupations.
Hannah areas of interest include post-surgical management, wrist/ finger fractures and working with children post sporting injury.
Hannah has grown up in the west of Melbourne and has a strong connection to the community through sporting organisations and GP clinics. She works closely with her 2 colleagues in the western clinics to ensure person centred and wholistic care for her patients
In her spare time Hannah enjoys traveling around Australia in her converted Ford Transit van with her Dog Ernie as often as possible and renovating her home. She is an avid Rugby union fan and a Melbourne Rebels supporter.
