Georgia Harris graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science before completing a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice.
Georgia developed a passion for hand therapy from her own personal experience. After severely fracturing her elbow when she was 17, Georgia received upper limb therapy from Action Rehab. She believes this passion grew from her experience as a patient at Action Rehab and seeing the direct impact that hand therapy can have on someone’s life. Georgia developed a love for all sports and physical activity from a very young age.
Georgia strives to help patients return to their pre-injury level, whether that be sport, work or anything meaningful to them. Outside of work, Georgia enjoys a very active lifestyle. If she is not at the MCG supporting her beloved Richmond Tigers, you’ll find her on the footy field representing her local Richmond Central Snakes footy club. During the summer Georgia loves running along the Yarra Trail or going to the beach.
Luckily for Action Rehab, her experience as both a patient and therapist ignite her passion to support individuals manage and overcome their upper limb injuries at Action Rehab.
