SERVICE AREAS

Dorsa Zarei graduated from Bond University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy, following a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from the same university.

During her studies, Dorsa gained extensive clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings, including musculoskeletal private practice, neurological rehabilitation, orthopaedics, and cardiorespiratory wards. Her rotations took her through well regarded facilities such as the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, John Flynn Private Hospital, and Princess Alexandra Hospital, all located in Queensland.

Dorsa developed a strong interest in upper limb rehabilitation during her private practice placement, where she managed varied caseloads, implemented hydrotherapy and clinical Pilates programs, and led strength and balance sessions for clients with osteoporosis. She particularly enjoys working with patients recovering from shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand injuries. Her passion for anatomy, combined with a commitment to helping individuals return to their pre-injury levels, makes hand therapy a perfect clinical fit.

She is dedicated to staying current with the latest research in musculoskeletal and upper limb rehabilitation. Dorsa believes in holistic, evidence-based care and focuses on delivering patient-centred rehabilitation programs that meet individual needs and goals. She loves helping clients improve their quality of life.

Outside of work, Dorsa enjoys strength training, spending time at the beach, exploring nature, cooking, and watching her favourite movies on Netflix.
