Aria Mittal is an experienced Physiotherapist treating the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder at Action Rehab Hand Therapy Melbourne.
Aria Mittal graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours).
During her studies, Aria developed a strong foundation across a range of health-related fields, including human anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology. She has clinical experience across both hospital and outpatient settings, including cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal environments.
Through these experiences, she developed a strong interest in hand therapy, drawn to both the complexity of the upper limb and the meaningful impact rehabilitation can have on a person’s daily life and function.
Aria is dedicated to helping patients return to their pre-injury level of function, whether that involves work, sport, or the activities most important to them. She takes a patient-centred approach to care and values combining evidence-based treatment with tailored rehabilitation programs to support optimal outcomes.
She particularly enjoys keeping up to date with the latest developments in hand therapy research and continuing to expand her knowledge in upper limb rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Aria enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, staying active, and following cricket and tennis.
Aria now dedicates her time at Action Rehab to supporting people in overcoming upper limb injuries and helping them return to meaningful activity.
Aria speaks both English and Hindi.
