SERVICE AREAS
Anthony Kharoufeh is a senior hand therapist with a unique blend of expertise, holding both a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy and a Doctor in Physiotherapy.
Choosing to specialise in upper limb conditions, Anthony has a keen interest in acute and sports injuries. He’s passionate about educating his patients on their conditions and the anatomy behind them, empowering them to better understand their injury and take an active role in their recovery. Anthony also enjoys staying up to date with the current literature and collaborating with surgeons and GPs to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Anthony’s main motivation is seeing patients reach their therapy goals and improve their function to allow them to participate in meaningful activities. He seeks to ensure that his practice is person centred by involving the patient in goal setting and treatment plans.
Outside of the clinic, Anthony is an avid soccer fan and a dedicated supporter of Liverpool FC. Whether it’s recovering from an injury or getting back to your favourite activities, Anthony is committed to helping you move better, recover faster, and feel confident in your body’s potential.

Anthony has a strong interest in upper limb rehabilitation and seeks to help patients get back to doing what is important to them. This interest stemmed during his last clinical placement in the hand therapy department at Austin Health. During this experience, he realised the profound impact that losing function of the hand and upper limb can have on a person’s quality of life. Anthony particularly enjoys fabricating splints, educating patients about the nature of their upper limb injuries and developing tailored rehabilitation programs for them.

Anthony is an avid soccer fan and enjoys interrupting his sleep schedule to watch Liverpool FC games. When he is not working, Anthony spends his time socialising with friends, playing soccer on the weekend and keeping active in the gym.
